Class descriptions:

Boot Camp: The ultimate cross training workout that incorporates body weight exercises (pushups, pullups, core work, squats etc.), short distance running, jumping rope, rowing, resistance bands, TRX, bosu balls, battling ropes, kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, slam balls, tires, logs, sandbags, barbells, slosh pipes, plyometrics, and best of all – FUN!  Boot Camp classes are never the same and have an ever changing variety of ways that the workout can be done, both indoors and outdoors. You will work with a partner, or as part of a group, or individually. Class begins with a dynamic warmup, mobility work to increase range of motion and plyometric movements to get your muscles primed for the workout. Class ends with yoga stretches to improve flexibility.

Circuit Shred: The only difference between these and the boot camp classes is that you will be moving through a variety of timed indoor stations with 2- 4 exercises per station. The exercises are designed to work every muscle in your body while strengthening your core. You will use the same type of “equipment” as the boot camp classes and begin class with a dynamic warmup, mobility work to increase range of motion and plyometric movements to get your muscles primed for the workout. Class ends with yoga stretches to improve flexibility.

Cardio Craze:Burn maximum calories, rev up your metabolism and your mojo while moving every muscle in your body. Expect running, plyometrics, jump rope, battling ropes, HIIT, Tabata and rowing to keep your heart rate in the fat burning zone! Can’t run or jump due to crabby body parts or injuries? No problem! There are modifications to each exercise that will keep you in the fat burning zone too! Class starts with a dynamic warmup, mobility work to increase range of motion and plyometric movements to get your muscles primed for the workout. Class ends with yoga stretches to improve flexibility.

Barbell Strength: This class utilizes barbells as some of the “equipment” for the  workout in a variety of formats. You will be learning, practicing and doing deadlift, cleans, thrusters and presses as the movements. Barbells require technique and precision in order to do them safely, efficiently and with good form. Class time will be spent practicing and perfecting the movements before the workout begins. Class starts with a dynamic warmup, mobility work to increase range of motion and plyometric movements to get your muscles primed for the workout. Class ends with yoga stretches to improve flexibility.

Kickboxing: The format of this class will be kickboxing “Bootcamp” style; heavy on kicks, punches, blocks and more! You will participate in group drills, shadow boxing, self-defense techniques, core work and lower body movements at the end of the hour.

HIIT/Core 360:This class will start with a HIIT workout to rev up your metabolism, blast fat and burn calories. Then the use of foam rollers, lacrosse balls, resistance bands and more will increase mobility and flexibility.   Class will finish with 30 minutes of 360 degree (transverse abdominal) core exercises!

Power Yoga: This class allows you to explore the fundamental postures of Vinyasa yoga. This foundation building class will work every muscle through movement and breath at a moderate pace.
